
Widlyne Katiana Romain has over 12 years of experience with supporting the development of children and adults with autism and with co-morbid diagnosis such as a DD-cognitive/intellectual impairment and psychiatric services. Ms. Romain initially obtained her Bachelor’s of arts in Psychology at Kean University in 2011. Upon graduation, she gained a plethora of experience as a homecare supervisor for in home services working with New Jersey Children’s System of Care, Individual supports programs for adults under DD, former program administrator, and Behavior Specialist. In 2021, she acquired her Masters in Special Education in ABA at Arizona State University and passed her boards in July 2022.
As a current BCBA practitioner, Ms. Romain facilitates best evidence-based practices and treatment for children and adults that are neurodivergent particular those with autism, ADHD, along with those who experience both cognitive/intellectual impairment and mental health deficits. Ms. Romain is a great educator and enjoys any opportunity where she is able to disseminate the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. She works with children and adults with ages ranging from 3-55 years of age working to build skills deficits, improve communication and managing challenging, stigmatizing and at risk behaviors. Additionally, Ms. Romain collaborates with stakeholders, caregivers, interdisciplinary teams, licensed therapist, other practitioners, and teachers in efforts to guide those who work to prioritize continuum of care.
