
Svetlana holds a master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, as well as a certified yoga teacher. She is working to bring awareness of efficacy of Applied Behavior Analysis as evidence-based intervention for individuals with disabilities by doing frequent research presentations at national and international ABA conferences. Currently, Svetlana does training and supervision for aspiring professionals in the field, research of effectiveness of various interventions, consults for educational programs and schools, and guides implementation of direct services at SSCF.
Svetlana previously founded and served as a director of Stepping Stones Center, Bangalore, India from 2013-2022. In 2019, Svetlana became a recipient of University Medal – highest Award granted by Binghamton University (SUNY) for her service as an Educator, Social Entrepreneur, and an Advocate “on behalf of children with autism and other developmental disabilities” and was an invited commencement speaker at her alma matter.
